Minneapolis Regionals Sample

As some of you know I spent Friday in the cities at a Stampin' Up! regional meeting for demonstrators.  I wanted to show you one of my favorite projects that I got to make down there.  This is a gift card holder.  While you could use it to hold a gift card from a store this one is holding some of our beautiful Scallop Notes.  What a great gift idea for a teacher or for some one as a thank you.  The Scallop notes are found in the Idea Book and Catalog on page 157 and sell for $11.95.  You get 30 of these small notes (10 each of 3 different colors) with 30 Very Vanilla envelopes.  For the card holder use a piece of neutral card stock 9 3/4 x 6 inches.  Score lengthwise at 4 3/4 and 5 inches rotate and score at 2 1/2 inches.  Then just fold and decorate.  Mine is decorated with the Best Wishes and More stamp set, some chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon, Flower Fusion Too felt flowers and some Metal Edge Tags.  Also decorate the scallop notes and envelope to match.  I hope to show this at a class sometime in the coming months, so be sure to watch for it!
